COVID-19: LOS ANGELES RETURNS USE OF THE MASK IN CLOSED ENVIRONMENTS PRIOR TO THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE DELTA VARIANT


The delta variant advances and the vaccination rate has stagnated.

These are the factors that led authorities in Los Angeles, the most populous city in the western United States, to recommend the use of the mask indoors in public places, regardless of whether people were vaccinated or not.

On June 15, Gov. Gavin Newsom announced the reopening of California and loudly proclaimed the end of mandatory masks for the immunized.

It hasn't been two weeks since the politician asked the state to turn the page, but the coronavirus has the last word.
